GURUGRAM: A total of 51 Covid cases were recorded in the city on Friday while the positivity rate stands at 1.4%, the level seen through this week.
The city currently has 210 active cases, of which 10 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals. In the first week of this month, 662 cases have already been reported in the city. There were 10,414 cases in August and 5,695 in July.
A total of 3,547 samples were collected for RT-PCR and antigen tests by the health department on Friday. It conducted 3,793 tests on Thursday.
On the vaccination front, around 149 people in the 18-plus age group took the shot, data showed. As many as 88 got inoculated in the 12-14 age group, while 28 were vaccinated in the age group of 15-18. A total of 125 Covid session sites were set up on Friday in Gurugram.
One death each was reported from Hisar and Kurukshetra districts. Gurugram saw the highest cases, followed by 11 from Faridabad.
The state’s positivity rate is 1%. On Friday, 173 patients recovered from Covid. Till date, Haryana has reported 10,53,550 cases, 10,42,185 recoveries, 10,692 deaths. In the past 24 hours, thehealth authorities collected 10,741 samples for antigen and RT-PCR tests. Till now, 10,53,550 samples have been found to be positive in Haryana since the beginning of the pandemic.
As many as 9,109 people were given the vaccine jabs, out of which, 556 were first doses, 1,954 were second doses and 6,599 were booster doses.
