PATNA: A youth walked all the way from Nepal to meet deputy chief minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav in Patna Thursday night. Tejashwi shared the information on Friday on his official Twitter handle and uploaded four snaps of his fan named Anand Sharma.
According to Tejashwi, Sharma covered the distance from Nepal to Patna carrying aloft national flags of India and Nepal, underscoring the deep bilateral ties shared by the two nations.
In the photographs shared by Tejashwi, Sharma can be seen presenting him with a memento, placing a Nepalese cap on the the head and a scarf around the neck of the deputy CM.
Tejashwi accorded him warm welcome at his residence after he came to know about the distinctive feat of the Nepal youth. He also obliged Sharma with an autograph on a portrait-sized photograph of himself. "Best wishes. Keep smiling", wrote Tejashwi beside his signature on the photograph.
It could not be known from which part of Nepal did Sharma belong to and marched from, but the Nepal border is more than 300kms.
"I am happy after listening from him about the passion and craze of youths and our admirers in Nepal," Tejashwi tweeted in Hindi.
