Queen Elizabeth II death: US President Biden pays tribute, signs condolence book at British Embassy
U.S. President Joe Biden and first lady Dr Jill Biden have paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II. The two wrote in a book of condolences at the British Embassy in Washington. "We mourn for all of you," Biden said. "She was a great lady." "We were so delighted we got to meet her," he added. Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday at age 96.
