22-year-old ends life after failing to clear NEET in Greater Noida

GREATER NOIDA: A 22-year-old woman ended her life by jumping from the 19th floor of a highrise in the Knowledge Park area of Greater Noida on Thursday morning. Investigation revealed that the woman was upset after failing to clear her NEET examination.
According to the police, they got a call from Jaypee Aman society located in Sector 151 of Noida under Knowledge Park police station jurisdiction around 11 am.
"We got a call informing that a woman had jumped from the building and is lying in a pool of blood. A team immediately rushed to the spot and sent the woman to the hospital where she was declared dead on arrival. The woman lived in tower number 5 of the society," Vinod Kumar Singh, Station House Officer of Knowledge Park police station said.
He further revealed that the woman had jumped from the 19th floor of tower 7, while her mother was at home. She was informed about the incident later.
