Father gets 15-yr RI

Mangaluru: The additional district and sessions judge, FTSC-II, KM Radhakrishna on Thursday sentenced a 55-year-old man to 15 years’ rigorous imprisonment and levied a fine of Rs 25,000 for the offence punishable under the Pocso Act.
He is accused of sexually assaulting his daughter in January 2018. A case was registered at the Bantwal Rural Police station and circle inspectors Sharanagowda and TD Nagaraj led the investigation.
