Belagavi: Rucha Mohan Pawashe (in picture), a girl from a family of doctors, brought laurels to Belagavi city, by securing 4th place in All India Ranking (AIR) of the NEET (UG)-2022, by securing 715 marks. In Karnataka, she stood second. It was her second attempt.
The excellent results in NEET brought joy to Rucha, as she is now ready to carry forward her family’s noble profession.
Rucha’s brother Dr Prathamesh has completed his MBBS, and who had got a medical seat by excelling in the CET. Even her mother Dr Smita and father Dr Mohan are medical professionals. Her grandfather and great-grandfather were also doctors.
The support of the family, especially her brother Prathamesh, played a key role in her success. Rucha dedicated the credit of her success to her parents and brother.
Rucha’s brother Prathamesh said, “Rucha was studying 12 to 14 hours a day. She was mostly focusing on resolving model examination question papers, and practising the same. Her plus point is studying with interest,”he said.
