Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.04% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:26AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Godrej Properties(up 1.0 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.51 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.37 per cent) and DLF(up 0.24 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Indiabulls Real Estate(down 5.06 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 0.6 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 0.42 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(down 0.16 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.04 per cent at 472.45 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 73.75 points at 17872.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 209.3 points at 59897.52.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, , , and Zomato Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of , BSL Ltd, D P Wires, Mohini Health & Hygi and Dev. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Ameya Precision Engineers Ltd., JFL Life Sciences Ltd., , and hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
