Man drowns trying to catch duck for dinner

Daltonganj: A septuagenarian drowned while trying to catch a duck on Wednesday. His body was recovered on Thursday. Deceased Jagatu Bhuiyan was a resident of Serak village under Chandwa police station area in Latehar. Officer in-charge of Chandwa police station Madan Sharma said, “Jagatu took Rs 500 from his daughter-in-law to buy a duck for dinner. But when he saw the duck, he tried to catch it and drowned.” TNN
