Queen Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 96 making way for Prince Charles to finally become King Charles. As the whole of UK mourns the death of the queen, here’s an incident that took place between Prince Charles and actress Padmini Kolhapure when the former visited Mumbai in 1980. It was one the sets of Padmini’s film ‘Ahista Ahista’ that she gave a peck on Prince Charles’s cheek which instantly made headlines back then. In a 2013-interview with TOI, Padmini recalled the incident saying ‘I just greeted him with a peck on his cheek. But, in those days, it became a big thing.
