Indo Tech Transformers(up 4.64%), SJVN(up 1.28%), Gujarat Industries Power(up 1.18%), NTPC(up 0.90%), PTC India(up 0.81%), CESC(up 0.30%), PIGL(up 0.24%), ADANIGREEN(up 0.21%) and Adani Transmissions(up 0.01%) were among the top gainers.
Reliance Power(down 9.86%), Indowind Energy(down 4.79%), Inox Wind Energy(down 3.16%), Suzlon Energy(down 2.96%), DPSC(down 2.86%), NLC India(down 2.84%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures(down 2.79%), Transmission(down 2.28%), Orient Green Power Company(down 2.04%) and Voltamp Transformers(down 1.43%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 75.45 points up at 17874.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 235.09 points at 59923.31 at around 11:21AM.
Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 3.44%), Shree Cement(up 3.4%), IndusInd Bank(up 3.22%), Hindustan Unilever(up 2.06%), State Bank of India(up 1.99%), UPL Ltd(up 1.69%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.43%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.99%), Divis Laboratories(up 0.98%) and Nestle India(up 0.98%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Larsen & Toubro(down 0.58%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.57%), Bajaj Finserv(down 0.55%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.34%), Coal India(down 0.32%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.31%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.29%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.23%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.21%) and Reliance Industries(down 0.21%) were trading in the red.
