Bihar logs 86 new Covid cases

PATNA: The state on Thursday reported 86 new Covid-19 cases against 1,12,660 samples tested in last 24 hours, while 134 patients recovered during the same period. With more recovery and less new cases, the total number of active Covid-19 cases has come down to 619 in Bihar.
Of total 86 new cases, maximum 30 were from Patna and 11 from Bhagalpur. Rest other districts reported less than 10 cases and 14 districts did not report any new cases on Thursday. As far as the number of active cases is concerned, it has reduced across the state. Patna had 324 active cases, followed by Bhagalpur (66), Purnia (23) and Munger (22). Of the total cases 16 were admitted at different health centres and others were under home isolation.
Meanwhile, over 15.28 crore Covid vaccines have been administered till Thursday evening, and this included over 7.31 crore first doses, over 6.66 crore second doses and 1.30 crore third doses.
