The business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce platform, Udaan, recently announced the addition of over 150 leading fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brands to their platform in the previous six months.

The business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce platform, Udaan, recently announced the addition of over 150 leading fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brands to their platform in the previous six months.
The platform's FMCG category will now have over 250 brands, serving small retailers and kirana stores across the country.
Vinay Shrivastava, Head - FMCG Business, Udaan said in a public statement, “The rapid pace of digitisation and technology adoption across Bharat has resulted in leading FMCG brands joining the Udaan platform to expand their distribution network in a cost-effective manner.”
The expansion plans of the company include increasing its presence to over 1,500 cities. At present, the platform has a network of over 3 million registered users along with 25-30,000 sellers across 1,200 cities in the country. It covers more than 12,000 pin codes.
Through this platform, small manufacturers and brands are enabled to participate in the market and sell their products across the country at low costs. Small businesses are also now able to source from a big selection of products at good prices.
