Man tries to kill motorcyclist with SUV

Vadodara: Two persons riding a motorcycle were knocked down allegedly by the brother of a political leader in the Dhanpur taluka of Dahod district. The reason for the incident is said to be suspicion by the accused that one of the persons riding the motorcycle had an affair with his wife.
The incident occurred when the complainant was going from Rampur to his native village Lakhangojiya with his uncle who was riding pillion. When they reached the Ved village, the accused, who was driving an SUV, came from the opposite direction and deliberately dashed into them.
The complainant claimed that the SUV driver did not stop at this. The complainant saw him turning his vehicle on the road to approach them again. The complainant managed to pick up his vehicle and he along with his uncle sped away. The accused chased them and dashed them again from behind and escaped from the place. An offence of attempt to murder was registered by the Dhanpur police regarding the incident.
The complainant claimed that he and the wife of the accused were friends. He has alleged that this was the reason for the accused trying to run them over.
