Teachers’ union takes up issues with minister

Ludhiana: City Lecturer Cadre Union president Dharamjit Singh Dhillonheld a meeting with education minister Harjot Singh Bains at Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh. Here, they discussed various issues faced by teachers like departmental tests, pending promotions, Ex India Leave, DA installments and Rural Allowance Restoration Board duties. Members also held a special meeting with Gurjot Singh, deputy director (promotions), regarding their promotions from master cadre to lecturer cadre.
