Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary, who are all set to embrace parenthood for the second time, reacted to trolls commenting on early second pregnancy. They also addressed certain concerns by netizens about their second pregnancy, family reaction and lot more in Debina’s vlog. Debina reveals she received 4700 questions and decided to address a few of them ‘unfiltered’ with husband Gurmeet.
02/9On facing questions like ‘Aap logon se thoda intezar bhi nahi hua?’
The couple announced pregnancy just four months after Lianna’s birth. While their first baby was through IVF, both Debina and Gurmeet were shocked to find out that they conceived naturally. However, they faced several comments like ‘Gurmeet se intezar bhi nahi hua?’, ‘Thode din aur intezaar nahi kar sakte’, ‘Debina ke sehat ka bilkul dhyaan nahi hai’ and lot more. Gurmeet replied saying, “Jab itni khubsurat partner ho toh intezaar kyu hoga yaar?” Debina shared that it is very necessary to be free of tension and create loving moments with partner.
03/9‘Lianna is our world’
Gurmeet mentioned that they had Lianna after 4-5 years of doctor’s visit. “She is our world, woh jahaan hai hamari,” shared Gurmeet. Debina shared that when every month for so many years they had just been facing rejections to conceive naturally, it was impossible to think that they will have a second baby.
04/9Gurmeet didn’t believe until doctor confirmed
Debina informed that Gurmeet was in utter disbelief when she showed her pregnancy test kit. Gurmeet added, “Debina was complaining about being unwell all the time, headache, body pain. I thought she was tired after the entire process of Lianna’s birth, hospital visits and all. When she showed me the card reading ‘positive’, I didn’t believe. Debina was blank and I didn’t understand at all.” Debina added that he didn’t believe until the doctor said, ‘There’s a heartbeat’.
05/9On comments like ‘do bachhe kaise paloge’
Debina answered, “All these years, I have only seen my body fail. He being my life partner, he has seen me throughout. He has seen me crying every month, he has seen me breaking down every month.” Gurmeet shares that Debina has been very strong and during certain times she was very emotional. Debina adds, “I have been fit but when my body wasn’t able to do this naturally and even after medical assistance, you just feel like a failure. With the second pregnancy, I didn’t feel like a failure.”
06/9When Gurmeet made a passing comment about having two kids
Gurmeet shares that many times it has happened that what he says, becomes true. Debina adds, “Much before Lianna was there, Gurmeet was saying that we should have two kids.” Gurmeet then shares, “When we weren’t even dating, I had jokingly told Debina that we should get married and we got married! Lianna se pehle I had told Debina that ‘do bachhe ho jaye back-to-back’, life will be sorted’. Hum do hamare do.” The actor also shared that his brother and he are 11 months apart.
07/9On not giving a gap
The couple resonated alike saying that there is a right time for every couple according to their choice and preferences. Debina shared, “My body reacted now and the pregnancy happened. What if we were ready after 2 years and my body wasn’t ready?” Gurmeet shared, “All these trolls are negligible percentage. Most people have showered us with love and good wishes.”
08/9How their parents reacted
Gurmeet reveals that he was on a call with his father and when he informed him that they are having a second baby. He shared, “He didn’t act shocked. He sounded very happy. And since we brothers have similar age difference, he just said, ‘Achha hai tum dono jaldi free ho jaoge’. Debina shares that her parents were shell-shocked. Gurmeet adds, “Lianna is very lucky for us.”
09/9How is Debina feeling?
Debina asks Gurmeet to answer and he says, “Debina has to take care of Lianna, herself, baby and me. I am taking care of myself but she has to take care of everyone. I keep giving her Guru-gyaan at times. But she is doing good.” Gurmeet reveals that in order to make sure Debina is doing fine, he keeps taking her for routine check-up and they get a glimpse of their baby. He says, “That moment is so precious. It is unreal.” Debina shares, “As far as pregnancy feelings are concerned, I feel nothing. No nausea, no craving, and that’s most amazing feeling. I am just listening to my body and responding to it.”
