Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of , , , and , hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 174.35 points up at 17798.75 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Debock Sales & Mktg, , , and , touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 36 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 13 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, , BPCL, Axis Bank, and were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, , SBI Life, and ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 659.31 points up at 59688.22.

Traders piled up positions in Holding Company, Telecommunications, Cement, Agro Processing and Electric/Electronics sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Ferrous, Miscellaneous, Term Lending Institutions, Gas & Petroleum and Petrochemicals sectors during the day.
