Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 2.24 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.58 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.39 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 0.96 crore), Indian Info Sof(number of shares traded: 0.58 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.55 crore), Future Consumer (number of shares traded: 0.44 crore), (number of shares traded: 0.44 crore), Inventure Grwth(number of shares traded: 0.42 crore) and Shree Global(number of shares traded: 0.30 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:04AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 139.5 points up at 17763.9, while BSE Sensex was up 526.96 points at 59555.87 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.85 per cent), .(up 2.48 per cent), .(up 2.22 per cent), .(up 2.02 per cent) and Mahindra & .(up 2.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 1.02 per cent), .(down 0.67 per cent), .(down 0.50 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 0.46 per cent) and .(down 0.33 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
