Wingify, the makers of experimentation platform VWO, has introduced a new policy to offer flexibility to employees to choose their work environment. Employees at the company will now be able to operate from a co-working space of their choice, wherever and whenever they want.
The firm has partnered with GoFloater, which will provide access to 800+ co-working spaces across India. The policy is completely flexible – one can choose to use a co-working space once a week, every day, on specific days, or never.
The policy has been introduced to offer greater flexibility to employees. While the firm remains a remote-first organisation, an internal survey indicated that the teams wanted the flexibility to choose how, when, and where they want to work and collaborate. People also shared a desire to work from an office, as working from home can sometimes be monotonous. Access to co-working spaces across all major metros will enable team members to meet in person and work together as and when required.
“We have come a long way since going remote in 2020 and in the process, have learned that there are times when one needs to collaborate, discuss something, or just want to have more people around to meet and engage. There are days when one wants to break the monotony of working from home or needs a more focused, distraction-free work environment. Keeping this learning in mind, we are extending our work-from-home policy to enable all Wingifighters across India to work from a physical office space whenever they wish," Sparsh Gupta, co-founder and CEO, Wingify, told ET.
The bootstrapped company has its head office in Delhi, and is used by 2500+ brands across 90+ countries including Ubisoft, Dominos, Target and eBay. It currently has 400-odd employees across the globe, spanning 65+ cities in India alone.
