Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:24AM

Sikko Industries(up 4.96%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 4.71%), KRISHANA(up 2.44%), Coromandel International(up 1.90%), Aries Agro(up 1.67%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.49%), & Petrochemicals(up 1.11%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 0.86%), & Chemicals(up 0.60%) and National Fertilizer(up 0.38%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 3.37%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 0.39%), Madras Fertlizers(down 0.36%), & Fertilizers(down 0.24%), Rama Phosphates(down 0.08%) and ZUARIAGRO(down 0.03%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 142.05 points up at 17766.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 508.1 points at 59537.01 at around 10:24AM.

Shree Cement(up 3.24%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 3.06%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.97%), ICICI Bank(up 2.4%), Bharti Airtel(up 2.26%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.66%), Asian Paints(up 1.62%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.53%), UltraTech Cement(up 1.52%) and Enterprises(up 1.3%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, SBI Life(down 1.39%), Coal India(down 0.82%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.67%), Cipla(down 0.65%), Tata Steel(down 0.6%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.22%), Nestle India(down 0.01%) and Britannia Industries(down 0.01%) were trading in the red.
