Mysuru: Demanding that the government handover the case against the Chitradurga Murugha mutt seer to CID, members of Forward Karnataka Federation protested near Gandhi Square here on Wednesday. They urged the government to appoint members of NGOs to supervise children’s hostels to ensure the safety if inmates.
Led by state unit chief Mahesh Chandra Guru, the protestors urged the government to hold a detailed probe by an independent agency to bring out the truth besides demanding stern punishment for all the accused in this case.
The protesters also sought the government to constitute a judicial commission to bring reforms in institutions working for the welfare of children. TNN
