Mysuru: Rs 100 crore loss recorded in Chamundeshwari, says GT Devegowda

MYSURU: Chamundeshwari MLA GT Devegowda on Wednesday stated that an estimated loss of Rs 100 crore has been recorded in his constituency following heavy rain. Speaking to reporters after holding a review meeting with DC Bagadi Gautham, he directed officials to submit a detailed report in this regard at the earliest.
“Once I receive the report, I will submit it to the state and Central governments seeking more relief fund,” he stated. “Overflowing lakes damaged several plantations. As many as 18 bridges are also damaged,” he stated. “At least 35 houses are damaged in the recent rain. Complete details yet to reach me,” he stated.
