Madhya Pradesh: Members of Jain community observe 'digital detox' fast

To free themselves from mobile addiction, members of the Jain community in Madhya Pradesh observed a 24-hour 'digital detox' fast. A fast without internet during the ongoing 'Paryushan Parva' festival. About 100 people from Begumganj in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh switched off their smartphones and deposited them at a temple before starting their fast.
