Adani Ent. shares up 0.59% as Nifty drops

NEW DELHI: Shares of . traded 0.59 per cent up in Wednesday's trade at 10:56AM (IST). Around 46,418 shares changed hands on the counter.

The stock opened at Rs 3443.4 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 3470.05 and Rs 3420.45, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Adani Enterprises Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 3470.05 and a 52-week low of Rs 1344.6.

As per BSE, the total market cap of the Adani Enterprises Ltd. stood at Rs 393562.59 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 41066.43 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2022, up 63.34 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 25141.56 crore and up 222.58 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 12730.63 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 469.46 crore, up 72.94 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Mar-2022, domestic institutional investors held 1.79 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 15.83 per cent and the promoters 63.99 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 403.84 and a price-to-book ratio of 10.26. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
