Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 19.60 crore), Bharti Airtel(number of shares traded: 11.74 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 7.52 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 4.49 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 3.97 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 3.18 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 2.31 crore), Inventure Grwth(number of shares traded: 2.09 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 1.75 crore) and Tata Power(number of shares traded: 1.68 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:50AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 86.65 points down at 17568.95, while BSE Sensex was down 313.62 points at 58883.37 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 6.11 per cent), .(up 3.89 per cent), .(up 1.53 per cent), .(up 1.04 per cent) and .(up 0.85 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 1.82 per cent), .(down 1.73 per cent), .(down 1.73 per cent), .(down 1.39 per cent) and .(down 1.36 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
