MANGALURU: Priyank Kharge (in pic), chairman of Communications and Social Media wing of the KPCC, said that people of Karnataka have realised that it is ‘double dhoka government’, not the ‘double engine government’ they have in the state and centre.
Kharge told reporters here on Tuesday that people, who had high hopes on Prime Minister
Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Mangaluru, were disappointed. “The BJP, which is not ready for a debate on the issue of development, has been hoodwinking people through issues related to people’s sentiments and religion. Do not get trapped in the
BJP designs,” he appealed to the youth.
“People, including the BJP workers, who were expecting ‘Ache Din’ from the ‘double engine government’ have now realised that it is ‘double dhokha government’ they have here. People had expected the PM to announce the inclusion of Tulu language in Schedule 8 of the Constitution. He neither spoke in Tulu or Kannada in his introductory remarks, nor made mention of the people’s demand. People expected CM Basavaraj Bommai to announce the setting up of a corporation in the name Sri Narayan Guru, which is long pending demand, in the presence of the PM,” he said.
Kharge said that the government will collapse if a proper enquiry is conducted into the Bitcoin and PSI recruitment scams.
