Tamil Nadu CM Stalin launches Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra

KANYAKUMARI: Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin on Wednesday launched Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra from Gandhi Mandapam in Kanyakumari. Stalin launched the yatra by handing over the national flag to Rahul in the presence of many Congress leaders.
The khadi flag would be carried throughout the yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. The yatra is expected to cover a distance of 3570 km, across 12 states and two Union territories.
Kanyakumari, a stronghold of the BJP, wore a festive look with posters and banners welcoming Rahul.
Congress general secretaries K C Venugopal and Jairam Ramesh, senior party leader and yatra organisation panel in-charge Digvijaya Singh, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president K S Alagiri and others were present.
