Madhya Pradesh: Devotees observe Dhol gyaras festival in Dewas district

On the occasion of the Dhol Gyaras festival, a 7.5 kg idol of Lord Narsingh floated three times in the Bhamori river at Hatpipliya in MP's Dewas district. Thousands of devotees were present to witness this event. According to a priest, if the idol floats three times, the upcoming year are considered auspicious. This occurrence has been continuing on for 115 years in a row.
