Rajasthan man kills wife, reports her missing; held

JAIPUR: A 26-year-old man was arrested by Chiksana police in Bharatpur for allegedly killing his wife and burying her in the farm of his neighbour.
The man initially called up his family members saying that his wife had gone missing. According to the police, accused Pintu called up his elder brother on Tuesday morning stating that his wife Krishna had gone missing. Soonafter, his brother and sister-in-law arrived at their house and some neighbours also gathered.
"Everyone started searching for the woman. One man in the crowed realized something suspicious in the backyard of the house of the neighbour of Pintu. They started digging an area, almost 200 metres away from Pintu's house. "The locals were stunned after they found the body of the woman. Her hands, legs and mouth were tied with a rope and they intimated us," said a senior police officer.
