Prime Minister Narendra Modi-Led Government will rename the historic Rajpath and Central Vista lawns. New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has convened a special meeting on September 7 with the objective of renaming the historic place. Rajpath was formerly known as Kingsway. It is the celebrated venue of the Republic Day parade. Rajpath stretches through Vijay Chowk to India Gate.
