JAIPUR: A 20-day-old leopard cub that got separated from its mother in Karauli's Bishori village was rescued and brought to the Nahargarh Biological Park.
Christened Radha, this female cub weighs 1200 grams.
A senior veterinary doctor monitoring the cub says, "The cub is normal, however, she has been kept under observation. On the first day she consumed 70 ml milk. She was weak when brought to the centre. We can witness signs of healthy recovery."
Wildlife experts claim, in recent times the wild cats of Rajasthan have suitably adapted to habitat modification and have moved out of the shrinking forests, and into the dense fields.
