GST bill to be introduced in Mizoram House today

AIZAWL: The Mizoram state legislative assembly session will commence on Tuesday. "The forthcoming session is the tenth of the current (8th) legislative assembly formed in 2018," assembly secretary H Lalrinawma said on Monday.
Taxation minister Lalchamliana will introduce the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax (amendment) Bill 2022 after the question hour. The three-day session is likely to be a stormy one as the state goes to polls by the end of next year, political observers said.
