MYSURU: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah blamed the state government over the rain fiasco in Bengaluru. Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, he alleged that the state government's failure is affecting the growth of Bengaluru.
Lakes and stormwater drainage have been encroached in the city. Flood water is gushing inside the houses and roads. My government launched a drive to clear stormwater drainage encroachment. But BJP government didn't do anything in the last three and half years, he charged.
"IT-BT companies look for good infrastructure. This government has failed in the task. It is resulting in these IT- BT companies leaving the city," he said.
He also stated that the Karnataka government is also ready to face a hearing in Supreme Court on the Mahajan Commission report.
