Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 11:26AM

Madras Fertlizers(up 7.79%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 4.60%), Sikko Industries(up 4.08%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 3.26%), National Fertilizer(up 2.52%), & Fertilizers(up 2.00%), Rama Phosphates(up 1.72%), Coromandel International(up 1.06%), KRISHANA(up 0.79%) and & Chemicals(up 0.29%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 5.00%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 2.60%), & Petrochemicals(down 1.83%), & Fertilizers(down 1.35%), & Fertilizers(down 1.28%), G S F C(down 0.76%), Aries Agro(down 0.62%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.62%) and Fertilizers (down 0.26%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 11.95 points down at 17653.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 46.68 points at 59199.3 at around 11:26AM.

Bharti Airtel(up 2.67%), Enterprises(up 1.72%), NTPC(up 1.58%), Cipla(up 1.24%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.74%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 0.65%), Reliance Industries(up 0.63%), Coal India(up 0.6%), JSW Steel(up 0.54%) and Hero MotoCorp(up 0.53%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Britannia Industries(down 1.34%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.33%), Nestle India(down 1.15%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.99%), Wipro(down 0.86%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.81%), Asian Paints(down 0.8%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.79%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.76%) and Bajaj Finance(down 0.75%) were trading in the red.
