DPSC(up 8.28%), Kalpataru Power Transmission(up 7.34%), Tata Power Company(up 3.19%), Torrent Power(up 2.27%), Suzlon Energy(up 1.90%), Indowind Energy(up 1.88%), JSW Energy(up 1.81%), NLC India(up 1.41%), Adani Transmissions(up 1.14%) and RTNPOWER(up 1.11%) were among the top gainers.
PIGL(down 4.08%), Voltamp Transformers(down 3.75%), Reliance Power(down 3.65%), Jyoti Structures(down 2.52%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(down 2.47%), Hitachi Energy India(down 2.47%), NHPC(down 2.44%), Orient Green Power Company(down 2.00%), Karma Energy(down 1.97%) and Inox Wind Energy(down 1.84%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 47.55 points down at 17618.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 175.33 points at 59070.65 at around 10:55AM.
Bharti Airtel(up 1.99%), Enterprises(up 1.9%), Cipla(up 1.4%), NTPC(up 0.7%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.69%), Coal India(up 0.6%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 0.45%), Grasim Industries(up 0.37%), Hero MotoCorp(up 0.3%) and Eicher Motors(up 0.29%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Nestle India(down 1.37%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.36%), Britannia Industries(down 1.16%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.05%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.01%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.94%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.86%), Wipro(down 0.84%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.82%) and Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.81%) were trading in the red.
