Tractor looters’ gang busted, five arrested

Varanasi: In a joint action of Suhwal and Dildarnagar police, a gang involved in looting tractors was busted with the arrest of five of its members on Monday. The police recovered 11 tractors and two trolleys from them.
SP Ghazipur Rohan P Botre said that the joint team of police nabbed Jittan Yadav, Sanjay Singh Yadav, Shivkumar, Azad Yadav and a minor member of the gang from Dhanadi area. On the information revealed by them, the police team recovered looted tractors and trolleys.

During initial interrogation, the arrested looters divulged that after booking tractors for different works they used to give intoxicants to its driver. After making them unconscious they looted the tractors and sold it in other districts and states. Police said that search for kingpin of the gang is continuing.
