Shree Renuka Sugars(up 6.05%), Sakthi Sugars(up 6.00%), & Chemicals(up 5.18%), Ugar Sugar Works(up 4.92%), & Industries(up 4.39%), Dharani Sugars & Chemicals(up 3.69%), AVADHSUGAR(up 3.46%), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries(up 3.22%), Rana Sugars(up 2.96%) and Ponni Sugars(Erode)(up 2.92%) were among the top gainers.
BAJAJHIND(down 2.56%) and EID Parry(down 0.30%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 60.4 points down at 17605.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 215.88 points at 59030.1 at around 10:39AM.
Enterprises(up 2.07%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.82%), Cipla(up 1.16%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.65%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 0.57%), NTPC(up 0.49%), Coal India(up 0.43%), Reliance Industries(up 0.32%), Hero MotoCorp(up 0.3%) and Grasim Industries(up 0.28%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Nestle India(down 1.5%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.5%), Britannia Industries(down 1.18%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.12%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.09%), Asian Paints(down 1.05%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.01%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.98%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.93%) and Infosys(down 0.91%) were trading in the red.
