3 die of snake bites in Ganjam

Berhampur: At least three persons, including two women, died due to snakebite in different places in Ganjam district on Saturday. Santosh Polai (32) of Balipadar died when a snake bit him while he was working in the field. He was rushed to the community health centre, Buguda, where doctors declared him dead. Police have registered an unnatural death case in this regard. Similarly, G Janaki Rao (65) of Kotilingi in Chikiti block died after a snake bit her. She was rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital here where she died. Nayani Gouda of Mathura in Polasara block also died after a snake bit her. tnn
