BJP on Monday released a sting tape allegedly exposing the role of Delhi's deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia in Delhi's liquor scam. However, Sisodia, in a press conference on the same day, denied all the claims against him.
The sting tape involves a liquor gate middleman's father. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra claimed that the son of the man in the video used to hand cash over to Sisodia.
In a televised address to media, Patra said, "We asked Arvind Kejriwal Ji and Manish Sisodia five questions regarding the new excise policy. However, the questions remain unanswered, and therefore we have come here to expose them through a sting operation."
"Today, what we are going to show through this press conference, the sting of the sting master has happened. When Arvind Kejriwal became the Chief Minister, he had said that look, if someone does corruption, you can sting him, record it and send it to us, we will show the truth," he added.
