Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.6% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:14AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.36 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 1.35 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.23 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.2 per cent) and DLF(up 0.97 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills(down 1.13 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 0.35 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.6 per cent at 470.15 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 112.15 points at 17651.6, while the BSE Sensex was up 407.87 points at 59211.2.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red.

Shares of , JP Power, YES Bank, and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of , Celebrity Fash, Sreeleather, and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while , Bombay Rayon, , Piramal Ent. and hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
