‘RSS wants nat’l reconstruction’

Dharwad: The foremost objective of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is to work towards the assertion of Bharat’s identity, and aid the process of national reconstruction, said the organisation’s chief of publicity, Arunkumar. “To that end, we are working in several fields to ensure the welfare of all people across society, irrespective of caste and creed,” said Arunkumar, interacting with representatives of the media in Dharwad on Sunday.
Pointing to India’s rich cultural and religious heritage, Arunkumar said, “Bharat had all the necessary qualifications to take the place of ‘Jagadguru (a teacher to the world)’. The project of national reconstruction can succeed only if we foster national character, replete with unquestioning devotion to the Motherland, discipline, self-restraint, courage, and valour. The RSS is working towards realising this vision.”
