Raj reports 284 fresh Covid cases in 24 hours

Jaipur: The state reported 284 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours bringing its overall tally to 13,09,924. No death was reported, as state’s toll stood at 9,628. In 24 hours, the active cases have reduced from 2,133 to 2,069. Jaipur has 669 active cases which are highest in the state, followed by Jodhpur (190), Alwar (153), Ajmer (113) and Dausa’s active cases were 100, while no other district in the state had more than 100 active cases.
A health department official said that they are taking enough samples for Covid-19 as part of surveillance. The number of samples collected were 16,961. The persons recovered from Covid-19 in 24 hours were more than the new infections reported in 24 hours. The state health department declared 348 Covid-19 patients recovered from Covid-19.
In 24 hours, Jaipur reported 78 new Covid-19 cases, which were highest in the state, followed by Alwar (41), Jodhpur (33), Dausa ((20), Chittorgarh (16), Sikar (12), Ajmer (10), Bhilwara (10), while no other district reported more than 10 daily new infections in 24 hours.
