Market close: Sensex surges 443 pts, Nifty ends above 17,650

At the closing bells, the Sensex surged nearly 443 points to close at 59245 while Nifty ends above 17650 points. Several stocks including Dish TV ended the day in double digit growth. At least 23 of 30 Sensex stocks close in the green. Earlier, Indian shares rose in early trade on Monday lifted by the rising metal stocks.
