19-year-old boy killed in bike accident

Coimbatore: A Sri Lankan refugee was killed and his friend was injured after a mini truck rammed their motorcycle on Coimbatore-Siruvani Road at Perur on Saturday evening. The deceased was identified as T Vidursan, 19, of Sri Lankan refugee camp at Pooluvapatti. He was working as a wall painter. Vidursan was travelling with his friend S Jeevarthinam, 35, a Srilankan refugee, when a mini truck dashed against the motorcycle. Vidursan, who was riding pillion, sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot. TNN
