Christine shared a video of herself on TikTok where she can be seen working out at the gym at 3 am. In the now-viral clip, she is using an inversion table, which suspends the body upside down and helps help stretch the spine and relieve back pain. However, while exercising she soon realised that her ankles were locked into the machine and she is unable to move from her position, the Independent reported.
In the video, you can hear Christine call another man at the gym named Jason for help. However, due to the loud music, Jason was unable to hear this woman’s call for urgent help. She kept trying to lift herself up but to no avail. After that, she was only left with one option and that was to call 911. After hanging there for about five or six minutes, she used her smartwatch to call 911.
“Hi, I couldn’t look up the non-emergency number. There’s only one other person at the gym and I got stuck in this you know that backboard thing that flips back?” she told the emergency dispatcher.
“I wish there were more people in the gym right now, but I’m stuck in this reverse back decompression thing. I don’t know, I just can’t get anyone’s attention at the gym. I’m just stuck upside down and I cannot get myself right side up,” she further added.
An officer arrived a few minutes after Christine called 911 and helped her. Christine told her fans and followers on TikTok that she was left with a headache and mild fuzziness after the incident.
