Sonali Phogat murder: Goa cops in Rohtak to probe her PA

Goa Police team at Sudhir Sangwan’s flat in Gurgaon on Sunday
ROHTAK: Tracing the evidences linked to Sudhir Sangwan, who was arrested in the murder of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Big Boss contestant Sonali Phogat, Goa police reached Rohtak city on Saturday night and continued its search on the next day also.
Accompanied by two local cops, Goa Police first reached the the address in Sector 2 that was on Sangwan’s passport. The owner of the house was not in the city so Goa Police had to contend with questioning neighbours to know more about Sangwan.
It was this house which Sangwan had taken on rent in 2016, but he was later evicted by the house owner.
On Sunday around 10am, Goa Police reached Sangwan’s second house in Suncity in Sector 34 where his parents reside. Sources said Sangwan’s family told them that he was not in touch with them for the last three years and did not come home.
Police also checked with Sangwan’s bank. After conducting investigation in Rohtak, Goa Police had left for Gurgaon, said sources.
