Gwalior: Power department employee files FIR after being pulled, kicked and punched by consumer, protests on

There are incidents of serial attacks on electricity officers and employees in Gwalior. Recently a power department employee was brutally beaten up. The meter reader was grabbed by hair, pulled, kicked and punched. People brutally thrashed the power department employee for alleged wrong meter reading. Local resident Anurag Kushwaha had beaten up the meter reader alleging that the electricity bill was high. Angered by this, the electricity employees staged a sit-in-dharna on Sunday. They demanded immediate arrest of the accused consumer. The victim has filed an FIR in the local police station.
