After a four-year-long wait, Hong Kong played a fixture against India at the 2022 Asia Cup. Despite the defeat, it was a memorable fixture for HK and there is one player for whom the day even got more special. Yes, we are talking about batter Kinchit Shah. He surprised everyone including his girlfriend when he got down on his knee to pop the big question. He was captured going up to the stands at the Dubai International Stadium and proposing to his sweetheart. And she said yes! The viral video has sent the internet into a meltdown. Adorable pictures from the romantic moment are ruling the Twitter timeline. But who is the mystery girl who stole the heart of the HK cricketer? She is Sheena Oberoi, a journalist and anchor. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Sheena shared her magical experience and was quoted saying, "Before the match, he didn't throw a single hint that something this huge is going to happen, so I had no idea about this. I was just focused on his game that he should play well." She added, "My eyes were on him and I was like ok now the Indian team is getting interviewed and the next team would be Hong Kong. And then he comes from behind with a camera person to record the whole thing and goes on his knees to pop the question. I was shocked yet pleasantly surprised." The cricketer planned this romantic proposal because Sheena had once mentioned that it would be interesting if he proposed to her on the field.
