Kolkata: Clash over Ganesh Puja subscription

KOLKATA: A clash broke out between two factions of a Ganesh Puja organiser in Kankulia on Saturday. On Friday, a woman alleged she was teased by a group during the immersion rally, which led to a scuffle between her family and the group. Sources said the two groups had been at loggerheads over collection of subscription.
On Saturday, her family members alleged they were attacked by the group. Local councillor Baishwanar Chattopadhyay claimed the clash was a fallout of family rivalry.
