JAC awards state toppers

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) felicitated 27 students of classes VIII to XII who topped in the state, on Friday.
Five silver medalists received Rs 15,000 each, 11 bronze medalists got Rs 10,000 each, and 11 gold medallists were awarded with Rs 21,000 each. Education minister Jagarnath Mahto said, “The state toppers of Classes X and XII will be felicitated with Rs 3 lakh each, the second and the third position holders will be awarded with Rs 2 lakh and Rs 1 lakh, respectively.” TNN
