Every parent wants to give their child a unique name. Many parents name their child after famous personalities or a place. A parent in the UK took this to another level by naming their kid after an Indian dish.
Captain's Table, a famous restaurant in Newtownabbey in Ireland, recently announced on Facebook that a couple who visit the restaurant frequently has named their newborn after an Indian dish 'Pakora'. Yes you heard it right, the same 'Pakora' you enjoy with tea during monsoons!
The restaurant shared the photo of the newborn on social media with a caption, "Now this is a first...welcome to the world Pakora! We can't wait to meet you! xx"
The restaurant also shared a photo of a bill receipt that had the names of some of the dishes that have 'pakora' in them!
The viral Twitter post has gathered over 26 thousand likes and 1,528 retweets.
Several twitter users commented on the post and extended warm wishes while some even wrote funny comments. A user wrote, "This is my two teens - Chicken and tikka".
A user commented, "Imagine someone calls you, "beta Pakora'." Another user commented, "Aaj pakora school aaya hai," while another commented, "Cute Pakora...bade hoke Pakora khandaan ka naam roshan karna."
